Ya. I have the fan on bottom for pulling air into the box and out the top. and usually I have another big fan just blowing on them- but with it getting colder I might have to do something different... I just lined the inside of the small little box with foil- yaya! that raised the temp a few...

Started this grow from seeds. I'm using cheapest of everything I can find- personal smoke. And this is my first time growing. I'm into week 5 now and have already learned a lot about 'how to try to not kill a plant.' -that adventure is in Newb Central...

One of my seedlings in this grow had a similar white hair thing... except it was tough and hard like a fingernail. she's grown different and slower than the rest of them- darker leaves, tight nodes, short and stocky.

When it comes to your plants- they're feel more like your kids- and they deserve nothing but the best. I'd use 99.9% pure silver silverware[thanksgiving dinner worthy] and secure plants with only gold colored zip ties with a 50lb tolerance[To support stem/branches] that you bejeweled the name...

How about dissolved metals in water? water temps? Water retention of the soil- if the soil doesn't saturate evenly you can get water runoff before the plants have a chance to use water to absorb nutes... explain the yellowing and drooping of one of the plants. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend...

I'm thinking it was nute burn brought on by lack of water retention. That soil was so tough that I tried to aerate it just for water penetration, and no luck. So, I repot - which was needed anyway- checked the roots(looking good with white fungusy stuff), and used a decent soil called...

I completely agree with everything the butt hurt man said! All the stuff about how our government is communist? no. disowning loved ones? no. boycotting democrats? no. Being a dick to everyone on welfare? no. ... but I agreed categorically when he said he was wrong!

Dont forget to include spots for fans for air circulation. CFL's dont run super hot, but if you're using mylar or something heat can build up pretty damn quick- especially if you go with 3-4 separate rooms for your box. I'd go with a single large flower room to maximize reflective surfaces...

I'm not an expert by any means, but I have read several posts with bloom nutes that dont contain any nitrogen- growers worried about nute burn like anything else, started at 1/8-1/4 strength and watched plant development. I've also heard Nitrogen's main role is supporting stem/leaf development...

Found my secondary leaves yellowing- didnt think much of it, but then the 3rd set starting to get yellow spots at leaf tip. Mmhmmm. I'm going to get a soil reader soon to check soil PH...

yup yup. Mine are still in their first month, the first and secondary leaves are starting to yellow. figure its not a big deal since all others and new growth is ok. Gave a little nutes and water at correct PH, we'll see in a couple days, if it gets worse I'll get a soil reader I suppose.

Sounds pretty sweet.... But am i the only one who likes the smoke? The only way I use vaporizers is with a pipe also in rotation.
