You can't breed strains that will be redder genetically, just by manipulating nutrients with the parents. You can maybe make a plant redder, but that won't make it have red offspring.

Why do you spray silicone on the plants? Likely, the branch that you spray with CS won't become full of seeds, because it will make male flowers, so you'll want to use the pollen from that branch, on another fully female bud with lots of pistils.
