    Topdressing Fox Farm Ocean Forest?

Yes top dress, ocean forest will be spent of nutrients after a month to a month and a half of good vegging. I use Gia Green grow and bloom top dressed in after 1 to 1 and 1/2 months at least in happy frog/perlite (a bit less hot than ocean forest). I just top dress a tablespoon per gallon of pot...

Never fails with bag seeds. I always get seeds last 2 weeks.

Even using premium genetics, and always feminized, every once in a blue moon I will crush a bud to smoke and get a seed! Question is, if I grow it will I get a female plant of the same genetic?

How do you run your oscillating circulation fans??!

I have 3 ac infinity oscillating fans in my 3X3 tent. one very low pushing the intake air across the top of the fabric pots and through the plants. The Second is above the tops, gently blowing downward into the tops. The third is blowing upward through the light and into the ballast, circulating...

Spiderfarmer Dehumidifier does it scrub odors?!

I hope I have better luck. I struggle with high humidity and need things down to 55-50 through flower. I usually have to dehumidify a huge lung room constantly which is a huge chore to get in the low 50s. Thanks for letting me know.

Trim dry vs wet and why help?

I have always wet trimmed. Then I lay them on shelves in a drying rack for about 10-12 days, jar, and begin burping. I finally broke down and got a nice bowl trimmer and was really surprised how nicely the flowers shaped up, and how fast it works! Trimming has gone from a pain to a joy. 4 large...

    Ocean Forest problems

I usually come in every week and break up the top 2-4 inches of soil with fingers before watering in. Also a great time to top dress in some castings now and then. As plant gets bigger youll start to disturb very top of root system doing this, so be gentle, girls don’t seem to mind and continue...

Question about light intensity AC Infinity Evo 4 300 watt 3X3!!??

Interesting you should ask. So I have always done soil, most forgiving to learn lol. So I went through the soil with synthetic vs. organic nutrients gamut. Decided to start synthetic and gradually moved to organic. Harvest quality got better and better. Tried hydro 3 times as an inbetween...

Question about light intensity AC Infinity Evo 4 300 watt 3X3!!??

Thank you. I am going for a full 3X3. I’d usually run 4 five gallons but this time I have 2 five gallon and 2 seven gallon. Last soil grow before going full coco. Nutrients are organic and very sparingly at that. I supplement with a bit of calmag, silica, and worm castings. I use Gaia green as...

Question about light intensity AC Infinity Evo 4 300 watt 3X3!!??

Good advice! the thing about the EVO light is the dimmer is in 10% full increments. 1-10 in intensity. I liked the Soiderfarmer better for a rotary dimmer where I could hit inbetween increments. Here is my current canopy (only second time using a Trellice). Plants are vegged 2 months. So Im...

Question about keeping smell on the DL w/ AC Infinity tents

I use an ac infinity 3x3 with a 4” fan/carbon filter inside. I’d say in veg for a month or two it is 100% effective. In late flower I get a little odor in the lung room. I’d say about 85-90% effective. At this time I use a couple glade plug ins to mask the residual. I also like to invest in a...

Question about light intensity AC Infinity Evo 4 300 watt 3X3!!??

My girls are about 2 months old and ready to flower. I have my light 24” over tops and they seem to be able to comfortably handle only 50% intensity at this relatively high distamce. Manufacturer suggests 80-100% for flowering. When I tried to bump the light only 10% to 60% a couple weeks back...

Growing with Gaia Green, what else is needed for the soil?

I apply the rock dust as a top dress at about half of what they suggest. I put the first half in along with my first feeding of grow and bloom 70/30. Then about three week later I put the second half of the glacial rock dust in with a plain watering. Plants seem to perk up and respond well to...

Spiderfarmer Dehumidifier does it scrub odors?!

Was thinking about getting a Spiderfarmer dehumidifier. Then I thought if it’s sucking stinky humid air from the tent, wouldn’t it exhaust unscrubbed air back into my lunchroom? Thus defeating my carbon scrubbing? Anyone using a dehumidifier inside a grow tent please explain to me how it works...

Do these look ready for first nutrient top dress? Switching from GH Flora 3 part to organic Gaia Green.

Appreciate your tips. I did add some worm castings at 1 and 1/2 cup for the 7’s and 1 cup for the 5’s before watering in the recharge. I have been keeping the top 1-2” of soil broken up finely for more even watering. So with the castings I kneaded the castings in with that loose top layer and...

Growing with Gaia Green, what else is needed for the soil?

I use Gaia exclusively now in soil. I would suggest one more product, their glacial rock dust. The plants just perk up to a new level and the color! Something in those trace minerals! my last harvest of purple punch was super sweet and grapey. I use the grow and bloom sparingly in happy...

Should I Be giving nutes every time I water

In soil I usually water with nutrients, then next water I use my additives like calmag, silica, and any extras I want in the mix. Now with my coco plants it’s definitley feed every water with calmag and nutrients. Good luck!

    Nutrients

Well most manufacturers hype their lines to be perfect, and best with their complete array of products. I’d use up the Dutch pro stuff if it’s been working for you. These things have a shelf life even properly stored and I don’t like stuff sitting too long, and it can sit inbetween cycles! I...
