Im running a recirculating drip system so water is only exposed to light whil the drip is running thn it drains back into the covered reservoir.

I have a hydro setup with pots (filled with hydroton) that are 8 inches wide and about 10 inches long (growing plants about 3 feet tall) and the roots are coming out of the drain holes that are on the bottom of the pot to the side and are being exposed to light and air. Is this bad?

Yeah I know. Indicas are bushy, sativas are longer. Im just saying i want it to grow leaf sets so it can get to a foot and a half so i can flower it. Ive heard peoples plants growing an inch or two a day

Im not talking about stretching, im talking about new leaf sets. So im wondering if im doing something wrong.

My plant has about 7 nodes but since I switched from 500 watts 16 inches above to 1000 watts 2 and a half feet above the node growth basically stopped and its still at 7 nodes. Its growing side branching really well but no new nodes. Whats going on?

My ph meter is somewhat reliable and reads 6.0 but when i double check with the liquid ph color tester it show darkish orange like its around 5.0 so I dont know which to believe. Its the...

OK thanks. Where was the 60 gallon res? And the only problem I might have is my water pump is is about 6 inches high and once the water level reaches about 4 inches high the water pump can't pump anymore. Do you think this will be an issue with the one thats 16 inches high?
