i can seal a room and i grow inside of a tent...how do i do it though with the AC and not be pulling air in from outside or bringing in fresh air?

lowes? grow lights? never seen them, seen the halogen ones....

how big is your room? the ac doesnt bring air in and out of the room? what kind of unit and is it expensive to run?

do they make an automatic one? also i dont get the idea of not running exhaust and bringing in new air, why would you turn it off even if your temp was fine

i have a 600watt hps, air cooled with 400cfm fan. my set up will be inside of a 5x5x7 tent inside of a 9x10x12 room....in the room i have the attic access to exhaust and i also have the crawl space access which grabs air from under the house (no basement). I can shut the door to the room and...

im just debating using my big ass 400cfm which uses 175 watts vs my 50 watt 150 cfm duct fan form home depot...just want to know if 400cfm is overkill or if i am just as better off using my 150cfm fan....also the big fan is loud as shit..

ic, thanks a lot guys! i guess i will keep the ventilation on 24/7....next question is for my 5x5x7 tent do i really need the power behind my 400cfm or should i just use my 150 cfm cheapo home depot duct fan? is there such thing as tii much ventilation/fresh air?

i used lysol wipes thoroughly, just threw the new girls into the tent for 12/12 hopefully they don't grow dicks.

when do i need a speed controller? if there is no such thins as too much fresh air or neg pressure than why slow it down?

no carbon filter here, believe it or not with LEDs less transpiration less smell... is the air circulation or too much negative pressure a bad thing? like i said the walls are sucked in tight...400cfm is blasting when 175 is recommended...

so i used to have a bigger setup where my 400cfm fan cooled my lights and two tents...now i have a LED tent for this go around. tent is 5x5x7 = 175 cubic feet and the fan is 400 cfm, i think the fan might have adjustable settings but before i mess with that i want some input before i do...

what didnt make a difference? turning the exhaust off at night? i do have a 5x5 tent within a room, the tent has exhaust @ 400cfm and passive intake blow right back out into the room. The room can be sealed but i keep the door open to allow fresh air to come into the room and into the tent. so...

thats the point tho, it was told to me that plants give off co2 at night while they are transpiring...so should i really keep the exhaust running?

i use black stars and i get them as close as 6 in flowering, girls love it... 8-10 in veg.....no need for any further... some guy was talking 22inches away somewhere on this forum when i was reading and that's just stupid, get them close enough that they don't stress the plant yet far enough...
