anyone have experience using BMO (blue mountain organics) nutrients in a hydro setup?

i realize that this is an old thread but what about ebb and flow? what are the pros and cons of using this system for a mother?

yes i will only use 48 in the winter...righn now with 20 im having heat issues. i got the temps down to 81(night time). hopefully when i reroute the exhaust it will improve. i will turn the lights off from noon to 6(hottest part of the day).

here is the setup i was talking about building when i first started this thread. i have 20 26w cfl's in it and it is less than half full (48 is max).the two exhaust pipes are in a temporary location. i will drill 2 4" holes in the top of the 1"x12" and hook the pipes there to draw out heat...

it wont nearly be a constant 40. cold(cool) fronts come and go out here and when they go it gets pretty warm again. i dont know maby that will be worse for the plants than a constant 40's

im also thinking tomato cages wrapped in shade cloth so i dont have to try and hide them where its already crowded...of coarse shadecloth in the winter may seem suspicious...maby ill save that tactic for the summer when tomatoes and shadecloth are in season

yea right now i have corn and cantaloupe and okra and squash in my garden. as soon as my seeds come im going to grow some for seed. i was hoping i didnt have to wait until spring to start my homegrown seed. from the responses im getting im going to have to give a winter crop a try.:joint:

thats great news. i have a vegetable garden in my back yard. this winter i plan on planting things like spinach, snow peas, lettuce, and possibly some lowryder #2 here and there.

now that i think about it thats alot of lights. with my lights drawing .34 amps a piece thats 16.32 amps for the total setup. im no electrician. will one wall outlet handle 16.32 amps or could i run an extension cord to another outlet and use a total of 2 outlets. im thinking all the wall...

i just ordered 2 36" 12 outlet power strips. the outlets are spaced 3 inches apart. i plan on mounting them parallel to each other about 10 inches apart on a piece of plywood. with y splitters i can put a total of 48 bulbs on both strips combined. with 23w bulbs thats a total of 1104w. the...
