Yeah, its a bummer but on the bright side I was able to catch the other bad spots before they got out of hand and the large majority is still ok. I cut it, i pulled back some buds right at the base of where that all started and look... some kind of white crap on it? I immediately figured mold, and cut everything that was colored different off and maybe half an inch more into the really healthy looking stuff. There are a couple other spots...

Do you think I should just cut that portion of the bud off?
