I am doing my first indoor grow and have a question. I'm growing Northern Lights, have had them planted for just over a month. They look very healthy but there aren't many leaves. I'm just wondering if this normal? My outdoor grows have had more leaves than this at the same stage.

Thank you. I tried some with my last harvest and didn't decarb (actually didn't know I should have), so I think I'll try it with the leaves and trim :)

I want to try using my leaves and trim to make cannabutter, and what I'm wondering is if I should do decarboxylation as you would with buds?

Oh, thanks for the info. Should the branch break when it's ready or just bend? I'll have to go get some paper bags. I have mason jars to put everything in. Is it ok to put it in jars and then store it in the freezer? My husband doesn't smoke, so it's all for me but I want to keep it "fresh".

I was extremely excited to harvest my first plant. I think it looks pretty good. I figure that it will be dry enough to try out some time this weekend :)

Is it ok to cut it down (it's outside) tonight and trim it in the morning before hanging it to dry? I'd do it all tonight but need sleep so I can get up with the kids in morning.

I've been doing some reading and have a few more questions. After hanging it to dry, I've read that some put it in paper bags before putting the buds in a mason jar. Do you have to put them in paper bags or can you just go from drying to putting them in mason jars and burping every day?
