    Rookie in need of help

your best bet is to ask a guy at a local grow store. if its for personal use and want only the dankitiest, then you may want a more advanced line. you're gonna get what you pay for. i wouldn't say foxfarm is 'advanced', but ive heard good things about it. im using house and garden for my first...

So this is my plan, after many failures

make sure the surface theyre on is warm. i lost a batch of clone and prolly some seedling too cause i put the tray on the cold basement cement floor and thought the room temp was good and overlooked the floor issue. this prolly isnt your problem, but id like to save someone else from he same mistake

Choosing a nutrient line for my first hydro op, what do the fine people of this site

not all nutes are the same. some release faster than others and are available to the plant sooner, some activate slower. different brand will give you different grades. don't cheap out on nutes especially cause from what ive heard, you get really get what you pay for.

Choosing a nutrient line for my first hydro op, what do the fine people of this site

i am a first time grower. i used House&Garden aqua flakes A and B with nothing else until i realized i needed more. the guy at the store was telling me that house and garden is one of those lines that are amazing, but don't mix well with other lines. so i got the whole house and garden line...

New to the grow, not to the dope.

first things first. its not just a few degrees high, youre 30+ away from the high end of the ideal range. switch your lights to LEDs first off. that should help a bunch. secondly, YOU NEED A CONSTANT SOURCE OF FRESH AIR. imagine if you were locked in a box, you'd run out of oxygen, likewise they...

    Light help!!!

if i were you, id rent or borrow a voltmeter. check that the resistance, current, voltage, continuity and everything are in check. if you arent so mechanically inclined, dont fuck with it. its not worth a fire or any other of the very possibble outcomes of bad equipment. also, cleaning dirt and...

loving my LEDs, do i have enough though?

i have a 8 ft x 8 ft room ( a bit smaller actually) with 3 - 135 watt agromax (i beleive, or some european company thats legit) and 4- 135watt chinese made (decent, but you can tell the difference) UFOs. they are 7 band panels. i'm also using some filtered red LED bulbs (~15W) and a few 68 watt...

does anyone know how to wire an external thermometer to an A/C ?

so ive worked in HVAC for 4-5 summers now. your best/cheapest bet would probably be just to install the thermostat in the room and do a little research or ask a friend with knowledge as how to wire it to the AC unit. im assuming you got a local cooling unit for the tent, right? i cant...

8x8x10 ft room, what type of fan should i get?

so my room in 8 x 8 x 10 feet. i may have to up to 30 plants. what fan will be effective enough. HTG had an 8" fan, 590 cfm (cubic feet per minute) output, 170 Watt, and 155 dollars, i believe. will this suffice for my room? i figure the room is 8 x 8 x 10 = 640 cubic feet. the output of the fan...
