Ok, Buds will be better but what does it do to a plant when you use both? If you are trying to mimic seasons with the color spectrum of the light wouldn't using both cause a little confusion?

How much could it possibly heat a house during summer months? It's supposed to be hot so if your grow room is ideal temps say 80 degrees or so, wouldn't it be virtually invisible?

Will switching from a 400wMH bulb to a 400wHPS 3 weeks into flower cause any problems?

I'm far from an expert but If you have only 3 weeks left the plant is putting all it's energy into producing flowers so the leaves naturally yellow from use of nitrogen. I wouldn't worry but someone else could probably help you better if you had some pics.
