Need help with idea's for light-tighting my veg room from my flower room.

I ended up making light plywood panels with 1/4" lag bolts and quick releases, The velcro is an added light tight. :) I also cut and folded the total hood today. I'm still gonna pick up some panda film, but this will work for now. Thanks again, everyone.

have no idea what is wrong with these plants

I humbly disagree that tap water won't hurt your plant if you don't aerate first (leave sit out for a day or two). and just because 80% of the country doesn't use chlorine, doesn't mean you aren't in the 20% that does. Chloramine kills bacteria, Soil mediums need bacterial growth for proper...

have no idea what is wrong with these plants

How often do you water? and from where are you getting your water? it looks like overwatering, and maybe watering with clorinated (fresh tap water) water? temperature? Humidity?

Rotational Grow Set up, 3 sections, stadium flowering

419-1 Day 15 All seedling sprouted first node leaves today. Very excited, that on my 4th leaf set already at 5 petals. I've never used CFL's for growing before, but it seems like stretching on the stems is almost non-existent. I've grown with MH in veg before, and had a ton of stretching as the...

    First Grow

It's all preference, I use 24-0 because my temperature and humidity is easy to regulate. Once the flower room get's lit up I may tone it back a bit because excess heat from the flower room with be getting fed into the veg room. You should spend a few hours looking through the stickies, I bet a...

Currently working on getting a light tight seal on my veg room, I've had a couple mishaps with sub-par materials. I am looking forward to getting clones in the next few days. First Grow

No 6500 is not lumens, '6500k' is spectrum of light. It stands for the kelvin degrees that the bulb simulates. Most CFL's you see are 2700k and not suitable for veg cycle. All bulbs should show 3 things, wattage - spectrum - lumens. If you can't find the spectrum move on, because it's pretty...

    First Grow

I would wait to start feeding nutes for at least a week or two, small plants can't take burning. I usually wait for the plant to be on it's 3rd set of fan leaves before adding. The soil you used to germinate and seedling stage should have most of the nutes your plant needs for the time being...

New theory wonder if it might work

I think this is pretty complicated based sending negative current through your plants. You would need to ground the top of each plant for you to put the electricity through the water, in order to provide a directional charge. And I don't know about you, but do you really want voltage going...

Need help with idea's for light-tighting my veg room from my flower room.

Damnit. I tried to build with the lightwieght stuff and my velcro was so strong I ripped it in half, lol. I am hoping to do a house search tomorrow and find something, if not then off to home depot to get something.

Need help with idea's for light-tighting my veg room from my flower room.

Thanks everyone, I'm getting ideas by the bunch now. I especially like the eyelets on the panda film, for extra protection(and good light reflection). I have 'lot's' of materials at the house, and I found some super lightweight insulated 'show board' (like they use at mobile stands that sell...

Need help with idea's for light-tighting my veg room from my flower room.

Have either of you used the panda film (rolling and unrolling) on a daily basis? Will it hold up to constantly being moved? I haven't used it before. I need something that's going to be pretty durable, I have no desire to keep replacing stuff in the grow room after it's finished.

Need help with idea's for light-tighting my veg room from my flower room.

So, I've built a Grow Room in our basement, and I'm down to the last little bits. I need to find a way to make a removable light proof cover for my veg room. Here's some pics of it open And here is a top layout I need to separate off the veg from the flower room (the veg room is seperated...

Batch One (420-1) It is day 11 and 3rd set of leaves have popped, on my second set I am already seeing a 3 petal (good sign for the strain I think). I transfered 5 into 3 gal pots, and left two in 1 liter pots for a control group. We will see if the quick transplant improves overall growth...

Hey everyone! I've decided to start a grow journal here of my newest set up. I haven't grown in a few years, and am really looking forward to getting back into it. My grow space is set up to provide for 6 heavy smokers (big community house) I thought it would be really nice to keep this little...
