Just talked to my local store. Gave me a deal for a hyper fan 6 and 6 inch mountain air. Comes to the same price as a 4 inch fan 4 inch filter and a variac together. May as well go with the 6 inch and have a super scrubber rather than a 4 inch and worry about odor. Thanks for the help...

But going with a hyper fan 6 and 6 inch filter , setting the fan to low would be fine. Gives me lots to work with. Or should I just save my money and get the 4 inch mountain air. Appreciate the help

Mountain air claims they are good for 36 months even on the 4 inch, is this to be believed?

3x3x6. So maybe the best bet would be to get a 6 inch fan and 6 inch filter and run the fan at half speed. I have 4 inch ducting going outside which I could put a reducer after the fan. Or I will vent into the room.

How many times should a 3x3 exchange the air per minute?

Bigger on the filter to scrub more air? Better odor control?

Yeah it has a built in speed controller and I thought it would be cheaper than buying a vortex plus a variac.

Good advice. Thanks. May have to build a conduit tube plastic airlock room for trimming. Or trim pail it up to my attic for trimming and back down to the tent for drying.

So the carbon filter needs to be 6 inch to work properly. Was thinking of turning the fan down 50 percent to get around 155cfm
