my ph is...probably a bit high. I tested the water and it's pretty close to 6-7...but the runoff I managed to capture seemed closer to 8... I got the cheap kit where I drip drops into a my liquid, then I gauge it using my eye... so I can only check runoff water, and it's a pain in the ass...

yup, red tails are tight. great snakes. and great markings on the boas, too. you just let your snake roam? That's cool. my uncle used to do that with his boa. it got over ten feet...he was feeding it a live rabbit every week. it got too big and was getting aggressive...fun while it lasted tho...

snakes are herps... people who study snakes are herpetologists. the spelling may be off, but you get the gist. my pops and a few of his buddies are into snakes on a 'correct national geographic' level. it's kinda odd...but kinda cool too. my pops has had more snakes in my life than I've seen...

a little humid at times, maybe... the temps have gotten down to the high 60's F at night, but rarely...and that was a while back - before this new growth by a bit. I've actually been running toward the hotter side cause I wanted to try to get my soil temps up above 72F or so... but I didn't...
