In the past 10 days the plants have fattened up nicely and the smaller of the two is almost out growing the bigger one in buds. I'm still having a problem with the bigger ones leaves browning with speckles.. Sorry.. Cell phone pics.

I've been using MG potting mix for mine and they look great! I'd say that for the money, it can't be beat. Note: The first two pics are of my bros. Also with MG potting mix.

I know to check the trics with a pocket scope until you get a good mix of cloudy/clear and amber trics

Yeah, my poor plants have been through hell and back, but then again this whole thing has been a learning experience. I threw some seeds in a pot not knowing anything about growing ANYTHING. That's sucks having the flu man. Get to feeling better.

Time for an update on my own plants. The bloom booster seems to be helping, but i'm still having a nute deficiency problem with the bigger one. It's only around the higher up bud sites now.. I was also wondering about pruning.. Is there any benefit to pruning some of the fan leaves off that grow...

Don't worry too much about doing something wrong. I started my plants outside till the second set of leaves popped out, moved them in my garage too far under not enough light for nearly a month before i finally moved them inside with proper lighting. I've broken one of my plants in half...

Hmm.. The rain water might be a bit hard to come by here.. STL is famous for having 5 min weather changes and we haven't gotten much rain in the past few months. I'll have to check for the bat poo and worm bits tomorrow.

Now i've never used any kind of nutes.. How exactly do you use them? dissolve them in water when you water your plants? Sorry for reverting back to total noob, but my brother used nutes on a previous plant that he had and the next morning it was dead... i REALLY don't want that..
