Here's some up close photos of the calyxes...does their swelling mean that they're about to start sprouting white hairs as well??? there are about 7 or 8 on both girls like this. So, what do you think? Am I in for another 4 weeks of flowering?

Are you some type of mad scientist? I would have never thought of that solution for the lights...they do hang on yo-yo's...so that idea is more than plausible...just that I'd probably have to get some more lights to make up the void from the top wouldn't I?

I don't think it's possible to lst them at this point...the main stalk is way too thick and the side branches aren't of major concern to me...the lst is gonna be for another grow. I don't know about pinching the main stalk (neither do I know if i'd do it right) because of their advanced...

Thank you my friend! The breeders at Royal Queen break down the genetics as Sativa:40% Indica: 30% Ruderalis: 30% If, indeed, I have a pheno with a bit more sativa in it, I guess my calculations on harvest time are going to have to be adjusted! I would immagine that I'll know these girls'...

Day 45 (approximately) update: The young lady in the orange pot is about 2ft 3 and the white pot is 2ft 8. This is measured from the top of the soil, so with the pot from floor to top, the orange girl is 2ft 7 and the white pot is 3ft 4! It could become a problem if they don't stop growing...

are you sure you let them dry thoroughly in a dark dry spot before putting them in the jars? Also, was there maybe mold before you cut them down? These could all be reasons...I would say though that if you don't want to read the excellent drying/curing tutorial on this site, then why even...

Well, I thought an update would be in order after about a week...the girls are really starting to grow! They got a light feeding of BioBizz Grow and I also started BioBizz Bloom nutes, both on about a 1/4 of the suggested amount. I don't know if it's the nutes or the fact that they are starting...

Yeah definitely cause you don't have to worry as much about heat, but you still need to have a couple of different ones for maximum coverage. Also, you see that cfls have different light outputs...those affect your plants, so you'll need to change them or have a couple of different lights...
