when the pre flowers form you will see either a small ball or a small tear drop shaped growth the tear drop one will push out two small white flowers within a few days of forming.... that will be your females. the males will push the ball out on a small skinny stem and point towards the ground.

unlike plants indoors plants outside are used to having a little light in the dark period..... a.k.a. the moon. just put breathable dark cloth over the vent holes.

when your male is in full on flower get a small container and a plastic baggie... trim of all the lower sacks/branches leaving fan leaves, take the cola o' sacks, still on the plant and bend it over so you can put it across the top of the container, now put the plastic bag over it, but not too...

when you let a female become pollinated instead of sending resins and goodness to the sacks they make seeds.... you'll end up with crystal covered seeds casings and a lil bit of bud... from the tips of new growth that were not pollinated. instead of making as many flowers as possible it will...

it's never too late huh? don't believe that. say i grow a plant inside for a month and throw it out in august, when plants around here start to flower.... you don't think it's going to take a few weeks to get used to having moon light and any other ambient light during it's dark period outside...

all of these plants have already dealt with frost once... this time they will be covered. it's gunna get down to 36 tonight, but there is a frost warning for my area.
