Pollinating a female makes it become hermaphrodite? Wouldn't that mean it could pollinate other females? I thought they were just called pollinated females, and couldn't pollinate others unless there was leftover pollen on them.

I also thought that at first about mine. I was like SHIT. but then I sprayed them all down with boiled garlic and nothing so far.. watered them and I don't see the spotting either. Weird.

Here's my current "Test LST", I did it with a non-topped plant to test it out and get used to it. The girl on the bike was something I took a pic of today, I passed her then had to stop up the road and take my camera out. I've been thinking of doing something like this since I was a child, now...

First attempt at LST, am I doing too much? Maybe a little high stress training going on? I'm using fishing line, I'm not sure if I should change that.. haha. It seems to be doing fine.. If this goes successfully I will do it to the rest of them when they have grown a bit more since I topped...

That's what I have been reading on this forum (the only one I use lol), I personally have most all 6500k at the moment but do have one of my t12 4ft fluoro fixture running 2700k-ish and they seem to be doing great.

haha totally thought that was a bug on my screen from the corner of my eye..

when the lights are too far away from the plants, they will stretch to try and reach that light. I keep my lights 2-3 inches away (CFL's), so they don't burn but get enough light.

That's so fucked :/ if my girlfriend cheated on me I would have to let her go. Obviously, if you can cheat on your mate then you don't feel as strongly as they feel for you. So, I couldn't live with that. My heart sinks just thinking about something like that happening. :(

Hey everyone, I did a "test top" and had success. So, I topped some more. After they have grown a bit from that I don't think I will be doing any more topping, I'll LST them. I'm hoping one top and then LST will improve my yield. :) Enjoy!

I didn't have any electrical tape, but I wrapped each separate wire about 5-6 times over. Should it be sufficient until I can go and buy some electrical tape? or is it a fire hazard? there is no way the wires would touch unless the duct tape melted or something.. ?
