Dude, as far as the tape.... I use electrical tape to maximize airflow around my fan, the edge of my ducting. That tape and foam weather stripping is my best friend. lol

Dude, take and put one of the PC fans at the intake hole to blow cool air in. I had this problem as well but now I am good. I do have an exhaust rated at 197 cfm's but try to force the cool air in the cab first. I'd tried so many different combo's.

You can go to Michael's in the candle section and there is a glass tube thats pretty wide there. Maybe like 6 inches or so. Its only $7 and some change. Be careful because its not as thick as the pyrex ones and I broke one before I got it home. Than again.... I broke my first pyrex as well...
