Don't waste your time. It'll still smell like dank in the room, just with a hint of something else. Try to stick with carbon or charcoal. The charcoal ones aren't as expensive. Goto HydroFarm and check out the Goblin or the Elf.

Its the cheapest wooden strips at home depot in the section with the door frame strips. Its like 88 cents a foot. And I just used some small nails to attach em to the wall.

How is your temps? I found that the warmer it got the more gnats I had flying around. When I installed better exhaust and the temps dropped, I dried the soil out a bit before I watered again and set a little container full of witch hazel beside the pot. The lack of water lead them to feed off...

I agree! And 2 was a personal limit I had set with myself from day one. If you have carbon, there should be no reason why smell is an issue. If you a babysittin' ass grower and you keep checking on it and consistently opening the door then yeah, smell could get you hem'd up.
