i planted them all in pro mix soil and have not used any nutrients so far.

So i planted some seeds in these cups about 7 days ago and i did not germinate them. i watered them about every 2 days but i noticed the soil was really hard between watering. could this be why i haven't seen any results? is the soil too hard for the seed to sprout?

in some of the pots im using soil out of my yard and in some of the pots i put some soil i found that had perilite in it.

I bought 5x feminized White widow seeds, i'm planning a spot for them outdoors but i dont know if when i plant them i should put them into the ground? or should i put them in cups and upgrade the cups into eventually 5 gallon buckets? will i need bigger than 5 gallon buckets?
