Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

LOL! Believe what you like. I've done my research. Can you say there are NO bacteria on/in your buds? Bacteria more toxic than Bt? Did you read my post? I wash my girls a couple times a week to remove foreign materials. Bug feces and the like. I foliar spray about twice a month throughout...

Purple under fan leaves and all stems

A mystery. Sometimes there are things that aren't easily explained. You could have a lab analysis done of both soils. I doubt much can be done to reverse things. Maybe a good flush, followed by light feedings of a well balanced fertilizer. Last year I had some weird things happen in one of my...

    how is she looking?

Those holes in the leaves may be caused by an early budworm. Spray Bt ASAP to avoid a disaster. Read the thread at the top of Outdoor Gardening for a ton of details.

Purple under fan leaves and all stems

Give the plants light feedings of the nutrients mentioned, and time. I've had a few plants do this late in flowering. I assumed it was probably temperature related. I've always associated it with a pleasant flavor.

Questions About A Beautiful Plant :)

I disagree. Perlite is a poor substitute for organic matter.

Questions About A Beautiful Plant :)

Most eggs can be rubbed off which will kill them.

Outdoor plant yellowing only 1 week into flower.

I have two White Widows growing side by side, they look identical except one is about half the size of the other. Same everything. If you've ever made clones in a mister, you can get a good idea how variable some things can be, in seemingly identical cuts. Some will put out a few large tap...

    What is up with this?

There was something a bit off, but the plant seems to be finishing, fine. Just let her be. Water as needed. You'll have some nice smoke.

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

I've been using Bt for MANY years. It is non toxic and has no effect on taste or quality. I spray Bt and then wash my girls down a day or two later. The Bt remains effective because it is a bacteria and remains on the plant in sufficient numbers to kill the worms. The moths/butterflies are...

    What is up with this?

Not nute burn. N deficiency.. Add a teaspoon of 21-0-0 to a gallon of water. Pour into pot. Wait and hope.

Having a problem with my plants turning brown

Yeah, that plant suffered a little burn, but now she appears to be doing well. A word of advice to everyone. There are more BS ideas in Cannabis gardening than anything I've ever seen. Everybody knows somebody who did this or that and grew a 25 foot tall monster. Use common sense. If it sounds...

    Outdoor Grow 2014

Thanks, but 4 is a rarity because I don't usually have enough room to allow one plant to get that big. Most years I get a few in the 2 pound range. I try to get at least 30 and as much as 50+ grams per square foot.

Maxsea is blowin' up....if you use it...post in this thread.....

I've been mixing my own nutes from whatever is available, and CHEAP(40 years) . I get very good yields and very good herb. I'm boggled at the prices you pay for nutes. I mix my NPK at 2-1-1 for veg, and 1-4-3 for bloom. I add a variety of thing to cover micronutrients. Not always the same...

Lurking No More....I want to share my first outdoor season with everybody.

A word of caution regarding 'teas'. It is best to use composted materials to make them. Using fresh fruit, or vegetables can cause fermentation. Undiluted, some of these brews can get very high levels of alcohol. This can cause damage to green leaves or feeder roots.

    outdoor grow 5month

Possibly 3 grams. Your girl needs more light, and root space. There are things you can do to get a little more herb, but I'd suggest you spend the winter reading and planning for next year. The crystals indicate the herb should be decent smoke but nothing to take to the Cannabis cup. Regarding...

doublejj's BIG 2014 greenhouse adventure Reloaded......

A really beautiful grow. I've dreamed of going that large. Not for the tonnage so much but variety. And breeding options. If I were to go into business, it would be a seed bank. Keep the genetics free from Monsanto and the ilk.

    How long left?

Yeah, watch the trichs. You could probably leave them in the ground for ten more weeks, but the lack of new flowers tells me you have two or three weeks to best buds. My preference is all cloudy with about 10% amber.
