So it's the 22nd day and I had to construct a new light fixture ... the plants have got so big the were getting to close to the lights ... so what I have now is an adjustable CFL Light hood that I constructed out of a cardboard box ... at any rate i think it will do for now until I can think of...

Not saying you should do it ... but there is a grow in the basement and and it's in the 20's out side ... the temp on the plants is 76 ... there has been an electric heater plugged into an extension cord for about 21 days keeping them nice and cozy ... :leaf:

Get some lady Bugs ... they love spider mites!!

Dude... looks good ... not sure I can offer any tips yet as I am new ... but I like the light set up ... I need to work mine that way ... my babies are getting big and I need to adjust my light ... anyway I'm on day 20 ... don't see any sign of sex on mine yet ... so if this is day 10 for you...

I try two ways the wet paper towel method and water in a cup method, the wet paper towel was the fastest just over 30hrs the water in a cup took 3 days ... anyway the wet paper towel method get a big paper towel fold it about 4 times soak it with water put it on a plate unfold it once put seeds...

So 5 days have past since my last post ... check out the babies ... they have got big ... anyway ... going on 3 weeks of grow ... when should I start seeing sex? Check out the pics Day 20 Dec. 11, 2009:leaf:

O.K. Its day 14 and I think I have an over active water pump!! My stonewool was soaked this morning when I checked the babies!! So I turn the water pump off to give them a break. At any rate I think the look bigger again this morning. Check the pics Also if anybody is checking out this thread...

Hey Oakie ... looking good ... how old are they? So I see that you have the tops of your rubbermaid totes covered with so reflective material? does that help? I didn't do mine like that ... Maybe i'll try it
