I live near ohio, kentucky, indiana. My plants have just entered flowering. What would happen if I moved them outisde?

I have been using Halogen lights. Just found out that they are no good. I just went into flowering stage. I have 2 plants in a 2 foot by 5 foot closet. How many 40w cool white Fluoroscent lights will i need to use. Thanks for the help
