    Yield?

Get used to a lot of this. It's the standard response. Go look up more "What will I yield" threads if you don't believe me.

    Yield?

Nope. No one can guess your yield. Someone who is growing clones from the same mother, in the exact same setup, can usually guess pretty closely what he will yield, but not someone else's set up.

    Genetics question

Not true. In fact one of the people who was "cured" got a bone marrow transplant from a guy who was immune. If I remember correctly it was because of the mutation I just mentioned. You should google it.

    Led

Hey, you use inexpensive LEDs, right? Relatively speaking anyway. Any suggestions?

    Genetics question

Breed resistant phenos to other resistant phenos. Kind of like how about 20% of the population of Northern Europe have resistance, or are immune to viruses that infect their hosts by a similar mechanism as the plague. It's all down to a mutation that was in a very small segment of the...

New seed bank in canada ... thoughts?

For a little while there it looked like I might be forced to re-locate to northern Alberta. Glad I'm staying put here. I love the cold, but my plants don't. I am getting into autos for those strains that don't finish before mid-November. Even as far south as I am we usually have had a couple...

New seed bank in canada ... thoughts?

Thanks guys, but seriously, I have seeds for a few years worth of outdoor grows. And that's not counting my own crosses.

Does anyone have any idea what strain this might be????

Not unless you're sure there are nanners. Take a really close look. They should be pretty obvious.

New seed bank in canada ... thoughts?

I'm sticking with Canadian seed banks for now, not a fan of sitting around waiting for Canadian customs to decide whether or not to open up my package, but thanks for the recommendation. I'm not really in the market for seeds for a while in any case, unless I start back up with indoor growing.

why my plants are so lanky please

Yes, they are, and that's where you'll find the info you need. It really doesn't matter how many watts it uses if you know what the ppfd is at what height. If you know that, the wattage, both used and claimed equivalence, are irrelevant. I'm not going to start an argument here, don't want to add...

Does Earlier Planting = Earlier Flowering? (outdoors)

Based on my experience, a sudden reduction in light hours can trigger flowering. Taking a plant that's under 18/6 and pacing it outdoors under a natural 15 hours of sunlight it'll start to flower (again, ime). But it needs a shorter day length to continue to flower. Otherwise it'll reveg. Any...

why my plants are so lanky please

I've had this discussion a few times, so short version, there are too many factors to take into account for draw from the wall to be accurate for LEDs. If it's actively cooled, how many of those watts are for the fan? How efficient are the diodes? How much of the power going in gets lost as...

why my plants are so lanky please

Sf 1000 is 100w, and it's being tested right now in a 2x2 tent by @Wizzlebiz you should check out the thread. Draw from the wall isn't really that useful for LEDs.

Do you count flowering from 12/12 switch or when you see pistil hairs?

Seedbank's flowering time is only really useful for figuring out whether or not a plant is likely to finish before winter kills it for outdoor growers. Even then it's kind of hit or miss. White Widow from seedsman says 8 weeks flowering time, but end of October outdoors, while Bruce Banger says...

New seed bank in canada ... thoughts?

Supporting local businesses is a big thing for me. Too many Canadian businesses were bought by US conglomerates, then the prices went up, the manufacturing was moved to China, the quality went to shit, and when the business went under their pension fund got shipped south to US shareholders...

Having a hard time with soil

You said there are mushrooms popping up? That indicates too much moisture, and too consistently, in the soil.

New seed bank in canada ... thoughts?

Because the more options growers have, the more likelihood there is of getting rare or cheap goods. And the only seeds you can walk into a store and buy are from licensed producers, and are still overpriced. The way legalization works up here the dispensaries have to buy in bulk from the...

New seed bank in canada ... thoughts?

That's one of the reasons I switched to outdoor. I can put one photo plant in the ground and have my years worth of med buds, and the others in pots are just gravy. I do like variety though, and I like a surprise now and then, just not from seeds I thought were a sure thing. When I want an idea...

    Mass medical

I wonder if THCV has anything to do with that? It shows up in a different spot from THC in TLC testing, but if there's enough of it, it strengthens the effects of THC. Do you think hash made from it would be any stronger? You might be able to get something of worth from it.
