Dont cut the leaves. Your plant is dropping because of over-watering, and cutting the leaves is not the way to fix it. Look the words in red below, happy reading

Your fine there not pre-flower. those are on both male and female plants. I cant remember what they are called but when young they look like white hairs but their not they will turn green.

sounds normal for 6 days. just make sure your not over watering as that will slow growth. can you post a pic?

Yes just make sure that they are in fact different circuits.

I know it took some time to put all that foil in there, but thats most of the problem. foil will cause hot spots. do you have a air inlet in there? painting the walls white would be a lot better.

I have some of those trimmers. The problem was from running those lights off a extension cord, never a good idea. If you have to only use heavy duty power strips and extension cords.
