Buy some drywall and mylar sheeting and build a grow box to contain all of that light. Also, transplant into bigger pots. It shouldn't run more than $50 for both After that you should be golden.

I bought a 120V rated 20w bulb at home depot. It was like $3. I just hooked it up to the cord and it worked fine. The bulb you had probably isn't made for 120V?

What did you guys use to connect the electrical cord wires to the pins on the bulb? The electrical tape I am currently using keeps melting/burning and space is pretty limited. I would solder them but I don't have access to a soldering iron.

Wow! Has anyone tried the rubbermaid grow box with a HPS? I saw someone on this site with a similar setup and he pulled TEN oz off of TWO plants! With CFLs!

Question: Is rooting hormone 100% necessary? I'm sure it helps but do you need it?

Could be overwatering? Try a couple 26w CFLs instead of tube flouros

With that much light I would grow more than 1 plant. You could easily get 4 plants under there and still be fine.

IT people(or your boss) in the company could possibly view what is currently being displayed on your monitor with their own software. It sounds like an unnecessary risk IMO.
