    Types of humidifiers.

The pond foggers are ultrasonic and can be sized for small or large grows. My last round I used a 3 gallon bucket with a pond fogger, a float valve hooked up to RO and a small computer fan. Worked fine.

    Types of humidifiers.

I have good luck with the ultrasonics, but I have small grow areas under 200 cubic feet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V6QRB6W is the one I'll be using for my next grow. Because it's top fill I was able to add a small float valve to it and plumb it into an RO filter. It puts out a blue...

    Thermal adhesive tape

I just did it last weekend. I used an old credit card. Some strong fishing line probably works good too.

    rasberry pi enviorment controller

I created a controller that controlled water pumps, ph/EC dosing, lights, AC, dehuey, huey, heater, CO2 and fans based on environment and time of day. It was way overkill. It used the Pi as a headless LAMP server and various arduinos that communicated with the pi sql server. The arduinos...

    Bud Trimmer Recommendations?

I have the 19" bowl trimmer (the first one in your OP). It removes quite a bit of material... but I make hash so it's ok. It also doesn't seal well... trichs seem to get in between the bowl and the lip of the seal, so when you open it, some material falls out. I was only harvesting 2x a year...

Oyster Shell Flour in Coco ROLS Mix?

I know Oyster Shell Flour (OSF) is used with peat due to the low pH, but with the ROLS coco mix I'm working on do I need 1 full cup/cuft? Here is the base mix: 3 parts cal/mag charged coco coir 3 parts perlite 3 parts earth worm castings (EWC)-- will also be topping w/ additional & every 30...

    Flushing or stripping fan leaves

I do the same thing in their last week... probably impatience... lol. It increases airflow around the buds and makes the final trim easier. I'm harvesting my outdoor tomorrow morning (MAYBE Sunday morning) and the only fan leaves she has are on the lower parts of the plant... mostly under the...

    Compost tea sprayed on buds

Why would you spray compost tea on the buds? The only time I spray buds is with BT if I have bud worms. Maybe with neem/azamax if I get some spider mites, but I try to use predator insects instead. If you're trying to foliar feed, you want to hit the leaves, not the buds.

    Pure Veganic/Pescanic Organic Grow

This summer I decided to grow out some bagseed from some fire I got a while back. I decided to go 100% organic without meat byproducts this round, which is something I've never done personally. I started with a supersoilless mix of equal parts coir, castings, perlite, organic soil and...

    adjustments made during 12/12?

When lights are on open the tent & fix your shit before lights off. Done. Just don't fuck with the dark cycle & she'll be fine.

    Newbie Indoor Suggestion

That dehumidifier won't help at all. If you're going to fill that tent with plants (16 square feet), you'd want about 480W of actual LED watts. That light is only 240W. The general rule is about 30W of led per sq/ft (debatable). Get one more light if you're canopy will be 4x4. Control the...

    Wpm mid flower

I've heard sulfur works well on PM, but I've yet to see it. My dad burned it when he grew indoors and it sure got rid of his thrips, but he never could get the PM under control. Burning is more effective than spraying. Still looks like PM to me. Wipe it off. If it comes back you know what...

    Wpm mid flower

Remove any leaves that are too damaged. Move to shaded area or wait till late evening. Wipe off as much mildew as you can with a wet cloth... top to bottom. Blast plant with water. All angles... tops... bottoms... everywhere. If you have any pests, now would be a good time to spray every...

What temp Mini-Split thermostat sealed room

Roughly. In veg I did. In flower I progressively tapered it down to about 20% under the recommended VPD RH by harvest time. With high temps and high RH condensation forms EVERYWHERE. I had to insulate all my pvc pipes and everything that had water in it, which was really needed anyway to...

What temp Mini-Split thermostat sealed room

I like my temps at mid 80s when growing w/ LED and mid 70s when growing HID. If you're pumping in a lot of CO2 then you will want to raise your temps a bit as well. My last grow was sealed with 1500ppm CO2 and LED and optimal temps in veg were in the low 90s. If I run sealed again, I'll keep...

LST pre-flower stretch + general advice (First grow!)

You can use neem oil or azamax up to 3 weeks before harvest. Lacewings can easily eradicate a small spider mite infestation.

5x5 medical grow tent. What else should I do?

Looks good. A couple things though. 1. Do you really need an intake fan? A passive intake may do the job. 2. If your attic isn't vented well it will get very hot/humid in certain climates. 3. If you point your water circulation pump up a little, so it breaks the water surface, the air...
