I really wonder how much i can ingest after reading that. Actually makes me wonder what i have ingested at once.

I always dry at ambient humidity (except when i am running the swamp cooler) and as long as i am careful to jar the buds when it is time, i can get just a good a cure as slowing the dry. Everyone has there own method, just learn with each experience. Happy smoking!

One thing to keep in mind when talking to these bud tenders, usually they are making less than $10 an hr, often minimum wage. Very few have a passion for the plant that we do, and i know as much as i love everything about it, i couldn't work for $10 an hour regardless. Something to consider...

Regardless of how many i need i get a flat that i believe has 12 in it. I go with the largest size in the flats, quart i think, with the wide mouth. With 12 you should be able to get the pint sized, and still have plenty left over. Kind of a personal choice.

From what i understand the cartridges are CO2 oil. You need a containment vessel to accommodate the super high pressures of the CO2. That of course is very expensive for personal use.

I hate to feed the beast but i usually buy my jars at Walmart too. As long as you don't break them though you can use them forever.

You are exactly backwards here, Magnetic cap and core ballasts are not only run everywhere (think street lights) but have been used for decades by us with no issues like this. It is the cheap digital and electronic ballasts you have to watch out for.

stick with the tried and true Magnetic cap and core ballast, no worries!

All good info. My only disagreement is the reason not to water the plant before harvest. In Colorado the humidity is so low that any addition moisture left in the plant is a good thing to help slow the drying process. I feed straight water for 2-3 weeks to make sure of a solid flush. Then nothing special, i just take the plant out of the room, (this is just for ease) take it up in front of the TV, and start harvesting one branch at a time, that way if i don't finish in time, i just toss her back in the room...

But if you carefully plan your trip and make friends before coming this way you can save yourself the hassle and find someone who can give you a gift, legally. Take time, do your research and make friends, i know one member who did that before coming to town and had no issues with finding anything.
