How many clone cuttings can you take of one mother plant a month?

I think three to four clones every two weeks per plant is a good starting point, so say for 14 plants you're probably averaging at 100 clones a month in my opinion. That's quite a lot of plants, if your new to growing you're probably are taking on too much with that many, and you won't be able...

What size Watt Cfl for 21 Site Aero Cloner

I do apologize as my estimation of distance was way off; I have just measured the distance from the top of my clones to the bottom of the fluorescent tube which is only five and a half inches (14 centimeters) I do use a reflector between the tube and the batten which serves the purpose of...

What size Watt Cfl for 21 Site Aero Cloner

I don't use this cloner, however I do clone in seed compost and the lamp I use is a single fluorescent 18watt (600mm or 2ft) straight tube with a colour temperature of 3500 and a lumen output of 1350 lumens. I normally get roots between five to seven days depending on the size of cutting I...

    Putting them out

I find holes round the side at the bottom is good too, this not only adds as drainage but allows oxygen to get to the roots, if you put holes only in the bottom then put them on gravel so there is some air space under the pot, the gravel will prevent your pots from sitting in water also.

    What are these?

Also I feel I should give you the heads up that pets in the grow room is a no no, this is most likely where your infection came from and will continue to infect your plants until you start to employ this strategy. The same goes for plants placed outside, don't bring them back into the grow...

    What are these?

You can use a spray containing pyrethrum or pyrethrins, and you need to repeat the spray 14 days later to catch the newly hatched eggs. Thrips strip plant cells from your leaves which gives a silvery appearance to the leafs top side, you can also use very dilute dish soap as a spray or dip...

    germinating

I have split tested this, and can be quite confident that all the steps I have outlined do make a difference. It is true that most seedbank seeds are already healthy seeds, however if like me you produce your own seeds then the steps are important. If you try germinating a diseased seed in the...

    germinating

Before you germinate your seeds you should keep them in a refrigerator at five degrees Celsius in an air tight light proof container, this helps them to break dormancy and the procedure is called stratification. When you are about to germinate allow the seeds to warm to room temperature for ten...

    Gusts..

if your soil is ultra dry it becomes what is called hydrophobic and water has trouble soaking up so it just will run out the bottom of the pot without touching the soil, what I do is submerge the pot in a bucket of water until you see the soil is saturated on the top, soak for like 5 or 10 mins...

Why do my plants look like this? ADVICE ANYONE!!

don't leave your plants sitting in saucers of water, use gravel in the saucer so the pots are raised up and not sitting in water, rosetting is usually a sign on root problems and you can usually smell for molds by smelling the bottom of the pot. What soil are you using? What water are you...

roots starting to come out pots

It looks like you have the pots in saucers which is keeping them wet is this the case? If so something under the pot to raise it out of the saucer will help.

    Whats wrong with these?

this is normal, they do this for a couple of weeks and you end up with lots of shoots exploding from the bud sites which gives you plants that make very good mothers, you will also see the odd female flower continue to appear on the new growth.

Thank you very much for the information here, seems the link to plantganja.net is not working, maybe the domain is up for sale but I'm sure you have given me enough information to get started with. I may not be able to perform the procedures for a period as I need to deal with other issues...
