    Fluorescent/CFL Grow (Bagseed)

probably not, since all of the plant will be exposed to the light. i think you need to start LST early though, but check other sources on that. the CFLs just provide a bit more blue light, ideal for vegging. :)

    Ionic grow and bloom...

heard good things, despite cost. bloom and boost have worked really well on my chillies, compared to a mate's ones from the same crop.

First time grow: go buddha go!

using growth technology chilli focus nutes atm, at half strength. NPK = 3:1:4.4 how does that sound? i wanna get some IONIC grow soon though.

    Fluorescent/CFL Grow (Bagseed)

looking good! are you gonna continue using the CFL once the HPS comes? you can use both for better results as the CFL provides the blue light needed for vegging. also, you can get a metal halide converter bulb to use for vegging, not too expensive and can be used in your HPS housing. HPS is all...

First time grow: go buddha go!

day 18: things are going pretty slowly :( obviously the biggun has been stunted cuz of all the problems and i hope it will recover. i've watered thoroughly with pH 6ed water. same for the little ones. the good news is the little ones are growing okay. i'm now just gonna keep watering with half...

    Plant problems.Please help

pH = -log10 [H+] not sure if that helps at all but basically pH is based on the concentration of protons in solution. a higher concentration gives a more acidic solution but when you plug that into the equation the numbers flip. so.....a high pH (above 7, which is neutral) is alkali (or basic)...

does look like overwatering, i'm guessing the new growth is more susceptible due to the lesser surface area. what are you growing in? ain't nothing wrong with plant pots!

yeah you really don't need to feed them until the have some proper leaves on 'em. maybe not until you have two nodes. the soil should offer some nutes too for a while. and when you do start feeding, only half strength for a while. got any pics to post?

I wouldn't personally use miracle grow because I'm a big hippy etc etc but to be honest a fertiliser is a fertiliser, all photosynthesizing plants need nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK) and miracle gro will provide that. Perhaps you just started your feed too strong. Try at half...

    Plant problems.Please help

PH down is a good product to use to decrease your pH, be very careful with It though, you only need about 4 drops to a litre of tap water to get to ph 6.

You also need to make sure your medium is pH balanced to about 6, otherwise all the available nutes will be locked out and might as well not be there. MJ needs a slightly acidic environment to be able to take up the best ratio of nutes. Good luck :)

Help! plant looks like its dying. Phosphorus, Calcium or Magnesium deficiency???

Seems odd for this to suddenly happen. Perhaps your plant's growth rate is increasing and your nute levels need to be upped. I know with rockwool there is no nute retention like with soil so maybe trying increasing your feed concentration? Hope you can bring this baby back, shitty time for...

Oh shit! I'm a bit confused though, did they germinate and then die or just never pop up? Lost track of which grow you're on man! To germinate the new seeds, try dropping them in a shot glass of distilled water and leaving for 24 hours. During this time they will absorb the water they need...
