dont think so man. thai stick is just the way it grows and it cured. usualy wrapped in foil and an eighths is a fair few inches long

are you talking about the smallers cfl's, 23w i think? you can use 200w or 250w grow cfl's quite effectively. check ebay, this stuff sells loads on there. plus you can get a decent hps for cheaper too! which would be better than cfl's no doubt

o yeah, also trimming those lower branches helps stop creepy crawlies from climbing into your plants,

this method is best when doing sea of green as then those lower branched dont really get much light. you may have taken a little too much off, he looks a bit naked down there! and yeah you dont want to stress your plants either, too much pruning can be bad check out youtube and see how green...
