Its pretty much the middle of what passes for winter here. And I'm still harvesting tomatoes and peppers (capsicum) from last years plants. But where I live is totally frost free.

I run a vert 400w hps and I find anything closer than about 6 inches will start burning/bleaching.

Perhaps the myth you're busting is that aquaponics don't create a strong enough nutrient mix to grow cannabis? I'm assuming there would be a fish/water/plant ratio to get it running right?

You can't say you haven't been warned.. Don't fuck with the crustacean. lol

Its also possible that it's an ornamental vine. They don't fruit particularly. If the vine is really big and it doesn't have a good nutrient supply the fruit could start to form but not finish, same if it's not getting enough water.
