Wrong. A good unit will repeate accuratly and be allot more accurate over the range. Cheap ones dont repeate accuratly and drift allot. I have never seen a cheap one hit 400 with the 400 solution then 1000 with the 1000 solution

I bet it would cause problems. Plants dont see UV but they use it photosynthesis. Most HID lights put out enough UV on there own. My 1000 watt HPS puts out 1200 mw/cm2 of 365nm uv at 10"

Are you pulling air into the tent as well? cool tubes only help so much your light will still put off infared that will heat up your tent. A aircooled shade is not gonna cool your tent it will make it cooler

I use coco croutons in my aeronet pots. I use the GH coco liners as well they act a bit like filters and the roots seem to love them.
