people will say rootbound to anything its just a cozy word. truth is a plant can be grown past a foot in an 8oz party cup easy. 1 gallon planter would need to be a pretty big bonzai to be rootbound. maybe im wrong, when u transplant show us the roots.

ph is affected by salts aka nutes. nutes that are chemicals are acids like phos nitro potash and the fuckin micro nutes are minerals like calsium magnese and copper, alkaline. usually tap water is PH 7 or higher cuz of the calcium in the water and adding nutes and shit should keep the soil ph 7...
