You were right. The plant handled it like there wasn't even a problem, and I was able to reach harvest with no trouble. I did get some black residue on the inside of the split though, which I assume was mold. I'm hoping that mold didn't get on the buds that are drying now.

I can't actually tell what is different in those pictures when compared to a non pollinated plant. Is the difference that the bracts open up?
