It isn't from the water, unles your pots hold to much water in them and doesn't have a good drain to it. If I were you I wouldn't use any plant food on it for about 2-3 weeks to let the roots get good and strong, or you might risk burning the plant. That is probably what happend to the bottom...

If you do it right you can turn bagseed into some damn good grown bud. I've done it plenty of times, and it has turned out great. Although one i got from bagseed was really weak, so you never know just do a couple and see what happens.

I raised the light about 6 inches to let the plants come up a bit, but more development and taller today. Things are going great, except the fact that it is hot as hell outside. Anyways stay tuned things are looking up.

You need to seriously and i mean seriously get more bulbs and move the light closer, your plants are way to stretched out, you need to invest atleast 3 Daylight CFLs and put them about 12in from the plant ifnot closer.

Just clip them off, but make sure that they are ready to be harvested, and that the pistals have turned slightly amber. Then just chop the branches off, and hang for about 24 hours then cure.

The plant can still make it, just got to give it some time. It will probably have stunned growth because of this, but it will be ok. Just move the lights farther away from the plant, about 18-24 in. and keep the soil moist. You might also spray or mist to help out.

Your soil mixture is fine, and as long as your soil stays moist and doesn't dry out to terrible fast they are fine. It really depends on what type of lighting you are using. If you are just using CFLs or something like that then your soil won't dry out as fast because it doesn't put off that...
