Hey guys, buddy is offering to give me a free jug of big bud. Just wondering why it's only a 3 week feeding schedule and what to do in the following 4 weeks of flower?

    Kind LED

I spoke with the guy once and he says sun spectrum is 4236k, I would preferably like to stay with one light for now and ideally it would be 3500k from what I've learned so far. Edit> also he said the strips are custom made using high grade aluminum pcb-a and high end Samsung chips I guess I...

Thanks budz, super helpful again. Update: Send out a pigeon to contact the guys at truenothernlighting to get all the info I want, it says they use meanwell and Samsung parts but I'll get the full details. Also I was looking at the 238 plate setup for a 3x3

Looking at these 238 true watts leds on TrueNorthernLighting (can't post links if you google you will see it) since they ship in Canada and they're affordable, not sure what strips they're using or if I should pick 4000 k or sun spectrum because I have no idea what sun spectrum is, I'm guessing...

Looking for a Canadian company that build similar lights to Timber

total noob question but what is sun spectrum? I was looking at lights that ship to Canada and I think the 238 would be perfect for me if I could use it at 3500 k for veg and bloom

    Slow start to flowering

This is probably not the right question for this thread but would you count 8 weeks of flower for outdoors from the first sign of a pistil? If so maybe I'm not in bad shape. I know you can't always go by what's listed on the site as far as how many weeks in flower they need but I kind of just...

    Slow start to flowering

These are CBDream from cropking, it's a mix of blue dream and OG Kush. They say 8 week flower but I guess we'll see, sometimes we have pretty warm Octobers so maybe it's just a late season.

    Slow start to flowering

Earth, I tilled the area and mixed in some promix hp for the mycorrhizae at a friends advice, with my very rich black natural soil. They've done amazing so far in veg they are probably 6.5 feet tall if I let them go but I fimmed and lst'd early to attempt to manage the height. right now they're...

    Slow start to flowering

Idk hoping mine take off here soon because they've gone through the stretch and popped pistils but seem stagnant right now. I've laid off the nutes a while ago. Fingers crossed I guess.

    Slow start to flowering

Did that happen pretty quickly? I'm not too far from you and I'm not seeing anything like that yet, of course I know strains are different, but I'm really only seeing 2 hairs on each node. First grow so I might be over worrying.

    Slow start to flowering

Yeah I've been worried about the slow flower this year too, kept thinking I was doing something wrong but I've been assured this is going to be a late season, mine still are just showing pistils. Freaks me out.

    Stuck at pre-flower(?)

Likely you want to check the trichomes with a jewelers loupe to see when they've all turned cloudy to tell when it's ready to pluck.

My buddy sells lights and tents for one of those pre-fab Alibaba brands, he swears they're the best but how can you ever trust the salesman to give you the best advice? Glad I came here I almost wasted my money on crap leds, pretty sure I'm either going to build my own or just buy some strips...
