are the bugs flying around gnats? if so the larvae WILL start eating your roots. a cheap quickfix that worked for me was put a later of sand over the soil. gnats dont like sand

i just watched something like this on mythbusters and they say that plants dont respond to emotional responses. the only thing ive heard of that would help your plants is talking to them... the only reason that works though is because of the co2 on your breath. just get some co2 :)

i saw the pistols its definitely female and my guess is two ounces since its so tall and all u have for light is cfls

almost 4 weeks flowering only 6 left!!! started them on molasses this week 1tbs/gallon. the plant in the first pic looks awesome but the other ones seem a bit more stretchy what do you guys think? i thinks there are a few different phenotypes in my 5 plant garden.

u can use co2 anytime the lights are on in veg or flower it just increases the growth but most ppl just use it in flowering to beef the buds up

tin foil can burn your plants easily by creating hotspots... they look pretty much ready for flowering to me ... u could wait a little longer for them to show some preflowers and determine sex.

another update! i cant contain myself they are looking so much better this go around and they are bulking up so quickly now although i think they started flowering slowly. i plan on adding molasses and co2 sometime soon, hoping for a little extra boost. u can actually see the frost in one of the...

its an obvious female from the first pic... it has a female calyx just without hairs ...sometimes the hairs dont poke out while still in veg

im gonna have to say my plant i did this to last grow showed visual recognition of this theory. i put them in dark for 72 hours... im pretty sure their energy is spent after that.

im not trying to down your stuff or anything it was a beautiful plant but it looked premature to me and you said the trichomes told the same story :(

they are definately not close to ready at least 3-4 more weeks... they look like they could use some fertilizer...some with a decent amount of nitrogen...

yeah i agree it looks like its getting better but i would say u topped it a little young and then u put it in hot soil so im sure that might account for some past problems plus miracle grow soil is usually pretty acidic, the bag i bought had a ph of 5.5. unity is prolly right.

im no expert but im pretty sure once flowering has been induced, it doesnt matter where the plant is, its gonna take the same length of time. although 48 days seems kinda short... must be a quick finisher
