mostly for the other additives that are in the super shock or ultimate shock, not the basic shock. i used just plain Shock in a bag from Walmart. i think it's somwthing like 62% calcium hypochlorite

Thanks for your input on the subject. Are you still running a sterile reservoir using pool shock btw?
