I just had microsurgery on my L2-L3, L3-L4 and L4-L5 on the right side done by a neurologist. (Orthopedics don't have the training to do it.) It sounds like your symptoms are very similar to what mine were. All of that is gone for me now. No shooting pains, no numbness, no heavy legs that feel like they weigh a ton, no hot dagger into the spine, no nothing.
