So with autoflowers I don't have the experience of a full harvest from them, I just have one under a 1000w right now that I'm hoping for the best with.
I was wondering if doing any pruning would set the plant back at all in terms of bud development. Seeing as it's focusing energy on the buds, if I were to cut them would that still cause the stress it would have in the veg state?

I wouldn't prune anything off of your auto. If you want to open up your budsites to get more light try tucking some fans out of the way to let more light in.
