i moved from West Palm Beach FL to, Germany near where I was once stationed with the Army in Bavaria. i grew a few outdoor small plants in FL but i literally did the set it and forget it method....i did 12 12 from seed trying to avoid bugs as well.but my plants encountered a different problem....thieves lol...

.FL is VERY hot this time of year....honestly it's a little too hot and humid, the sativa strains handle this much better from what ive read but FL has so many damn bugs out door grows are hard to use....ive also read you can dissolve one aspirin in to your plant's feeding ONCE a week only and it will combat bug problems....fungus gnats and mites are abundant there...also if you can get some "muck" from south fl

you can find it in about 3 towns only literally...Pahokee and Belle Glade...if your on the west coast clewiston has some and south bay has it as well...it's mostly around the southern part of lake okeechobee since that's where they drained our swamp to build Florida

try adding perlite to your soil as well it aids in moisture control and oxygen supply to your roots

also read one aspirin ONE time a week dissolved in to your plants water can combat bugs...dk how true it is tho.
