This is the worst election I've ever witnessed!

This is my 6th Presidential election and this is by far the worst election cycle I've ever witnessed
The candidates aren't very good, the reporters aren't very good, the people voting aren't very good. Everything is so negative.....I haven't seen a respectful political discussion on a forum for months on end because it is so polarized....there's people who hate Obama cuz he's black. There's people who hate Romney cuz he's a rich white kid. Some people think the poor and unemployed are just taking advantage of welfare - or people think the rich just want tax cuts and all the money- then they don't care about other people

No issues are really getting dealt with - it's just an arguement that's been going on since last september

I'd like to feel good about voting but when I'm done voting, I will be done with fucking politics for yrs to come......................

It's not because Obama is black for most of us......it's his lousy policies, the lying and deceit within the administration, the broken promises and placing blame on everyone but himself and the wrong direction he's taking the country. But, I think it's better that people who feel like you do don't vote anyway so we'll see u again in 4 or 5 elections.

You think this is bad. Just wait till the next Presidential election. I foresee blood in the streets.

he wants people to be able to get married even if homophobes and bigots disapprove.

he wants people to be able to serve their country even if homophobes and bigots disapprove.

he wants those who serve to get equal benefits even if homophobes and bigots disapprove.

he wants to lower taxes, but only for people in the bottom 95%.

he wants to take care of our first responders who were misled about the safety of ground zero.

he wants children who were brought here through no fault of their own to have a chance at being productive members of society.

he wants to put americans back to work rebuilding the country, leading to more than the 5+ million jobs created so far.

he wants to continue reducing the deficit in a balanced manner, asking those who benefited the most to chip in a little instead of balancing the budget on the backs of the middle class and working poor.

these are all lousy policies.

instead, they will vote for a man who wants tariffs, i.e. an effective tax that goes against their very own economic interests.

they will vote for a man who will not stand up for their wives, daughters, mothers, aunts, and nieces ability to get the same pay for the same work and be in control of their own health care decisions.

they will vote for a man who will deny their friends the same rights that they enjoy.

they will vote for a man who will fight cannabis tooth and nail and who calls medical cannabis nothing more than a way to get kids hooked on drugs.

then, with a straight face, they will call us morons for voting in our best interests.
