for anyone citing obama's poll numbers as proof of anything, please answer why it is a good idea to decide what is right or wrong, good or bad, fair or not based on what a majority of people think?

isn't that called the tyrannical majority?

didn't a majority of people disapprove of interracial marriages at the time our president was born? does it make it right that a majority of people approved of anti-miscegeny laws?

That has absolutely nothing to do with Obama's job approval numbers. He is the President and his job approval numbers are dropping. Why?
 
I live in the southern USA,,,my wife's family are crazy chuch going GOP,,,Don't wanna hear the truth kinnda people,,,The crazy "Huge University",,,around here preaches BS and have Lawyer's to fight for the GOP,,,Tax free...It's corupt and Illegal and you will soon see the truth. You never hear that tho'''right?

i happen to approve of things he has done and is proposing, like letting me and my family keep more of our own money, and passing laws that allow my wife to buy her own health insurance despite a pre-existing condition.

here is a question for you: when people are asked about individual provisions in the PPACA, they overwhelmingly approve. when asked about the PPACA as a whole, they disapprove. why is that?

it doesn't matter. my wife can now buy insurance and nothing short of 60 repubs in the senate will shoot it down. believe me, they have tried in the house already and can't do JACK SHIT.

Yeah...there is a demographic nightmare heading our way. And people that actually know anything about it are doing everything they can to get theirs....
While our generation is asleep at the wheel, faling prey to jackoffs like Ron Paul and not giving any attention to REAL issues, we will continue to be taken advantage of and carry the burden of the Baby Boomers.

We did the same thing by supporting the retirees when I worked and paid taxes. I'm retired so make sure you work really hard and pay those taxes because now you're supporting me. You poor poor baby. LOL.
