25 days into my first grow

Here is a couple of pictures of my first successful project, 25 days in, living soil, indoor, grow tent, 250w led full spectrum light sized for my tent, killed one entire grow a month ago ( my error) and thought I killed my 2nd plant this time but came up like 3 weeks later lol. Any tips or criticisms for me, transplanted a week ago to 3 gallons pot! TYIA Mike

Looking good , I'd consider topping, then vegging out another 2-3 weeks. What are your lights set at ,intensity and distance wise?

about 80% at 30 inches
That's a really nice looking plant. Well done.

It's growing well now, no question, and it will do better with more light. Light is food to a plant, nutrients are akin to vitamins and minerals.

What model light are you using?

"Topping" means removing the growth that's just sprouting out of the top of the plant above the fourth node.

Thanks I found an online person on another site that gave me almost the same information ( but yours has a easy to follow picture) lol so that being said I think I did it right, time will tell! Thanks for your advice!

this will help bush your plant out. I'd consider increasing the light distance to 24in. shes plenty ready for 400-500 ppfd. u might see a slower rater in growth for the first 2-3 days after topping. this is normal. goodluck growmie,
great start!

Oh, shoot. Forgot to mention this — when you top, do not make the cut right at the top of the fourth node. Cut the "apical meristem" at least ½" above the fourth node.

I topped this too "close" and the stem split later. No particular harm to the plant but I'm sure it didn't do it any good.

And, yeh, like @GemGrows24 says, you might want to increase your light levels. Very few lights need to be at 30" and at 30" and 80% your plant is wondering why it's on a diet.

By the time you're topping a cannabis plant, a healthy cannabis plant can easily use 500µmol of light. Cannabis is an absolute light whore but a lot of growers are still using "legacy light levels" from HPS days.
