Transplanting before flower.

I’m thinking about translating from 10 gallon to 15 gallon. I’m worried that transparent will shock my plant. I’m in a fabric pot. The trouble is the roots have been growing through. Lower side and bottom. I’m worried once I removed the 10 gallon pot it’s gonna rip away from the plant and shock it. I know from pass grow she’ll start flowering two weeks. I’m just looking for advice whether I should just ride, it out in a 10 gallon or make the move to 15. Just deal with the shock. I may be overthinking this.

thats not an auto, its a photo by the looks of it, you can carefully transplant her into the larger pot, give her a week to spread out some new roots then flip her.
she will soon spread her roots into the new soil and use it for growth.:weed:

I completely agree with the previous replies. Even when your careful as possible there is still a little transplant shock. The 10 gallons should be adequate, 15 gallons is better, but it seems like you are completely aware of the trade off of repotting vs the benefits of a larger grow space. I would say you are safe if you still have two weeks until she will start flowering. But in my experience you can get the same results by adding a little flowering nutes to your 10 gallon. If you think your soil is really good and extra nutes might be too much, then your 10 gallons is probably plenty of room. I wouldn't worry about any roots growing through, they will do that eventually no matter what size container they are in. But no worries, it looks and sounds like you will have a healthy crop. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for all the feedback I’m gonna stick with the 10 gallon pot. I’m outside so there is no flipping. Seen the roots exposed. They were the way they were at the bottom had a little nervous the first time using self feeding bases. I’ll just continue on as planned. Thanks again everybody

The roots as you see can grow through the fabric, to prevent shock you could just ptransplant pot and all into the 15 gal. Put dirt in the bottom of the fifteen gal, set 10 gal down in and then fill in the gaps with dirt

I’m thinking about doing that and just top feed from here. I’m just hesitant because the roots have grown right through the top of the feeder down into the reservoir. Plus, I’m not even sure if I’m in flower or about the flower. It seemed early to me, but what do I know?
