I don't know what it is but I do believe that I'll be getting rid of the tree soon
They look like june beetles but the picture is blurry. If so, we get them here too. Whiskey loves trying to eat them... if he gets too many they cause him really loose poo, similar symptoms. They are also a bitch to step on barefoot.
That's what it looks like to me, too. And we get tons in the state...
