They definitely did the cornfield trick for a long time.

Man we planted tons of weed, at the ends of cornfields on the Ohio River, in both Brown County, and Adams County in Ohio, in the 70s-90s.
Nevil released Sk2, in 1985 is all I know, and Noodles used it, in his Meigs Gold.

Green crack was never called green cush in ohio and any green crack seeds in ohio are s1's or crosses. I have not heard of anything spectacular coming from the new meigs county gold seeds that are around unless it is being kept quiet and thats not likely if it was like that of old. Hope you have it.

High y'all..

Back in the early 90's I played guitar in a heavy metal band. The bass player would bring this fantastic herb that he called Meigs. Man, a few pulls and the jams were outta sight!

Then he stopped bringing Meigs to rehearsals.. "Bummer.. no more Meigs.. Dude got busted".. and I never saw Meigs again... the jams were never the same.

Oh, how would I wax nostalgic through the years and decades bout those buds...

This year I found that Copa Genetics was releasing Limited Edition MCG beans. I picked up 2 packs. Then Copa released F2s and I picked up 4 packs.

I popped a pack of F2s in April. 10/10 broke soil. 2 were mutant runts. 1 failed the drought test. 4 looked to be male. I have the 3 outside now. When I put them out 3 weeks ago they all looked the same.. Now, differences are becoming apparent..

#1 - short node distance medium height
#2 - longer node distance medium height
#3 - longest node distance tallest of the 3

I can see the Acapulco Gold in the fan leaves. I can see why this cultivar was in the cornfields: the stalk is skinny so the corn acted as a windbreak..
