so my lord of he land said he wants an EPC he is doing himself, ive never dealt with him directly in 15 years, always the agent and maintenance guys, now he wants to come!
ive harvested so thats great,,, but i have installed kingspan so the roof is kingspanned, fully kingspanned loft ..which means inspector will look up for insulation see that and wana go up and measure n check it! how the frigg in hell do i dodge this!, i got that much gear i cant even store it anywhere, im gona have to dismantle my entrance wall and door to open the loft where its sectioned off, and store 150mm thick kingpsn walll, hide my giant 4x4ft led pannels, all my 300l soil, pfft,
thinking to make shit ton of boxes up and FILL the loft till he cant even move put everyting in the boxes, and be like errm, feel free its fucking rammed, ! or throw my teens up there with his xbox and say its his escape room, make fake sofa with throws on it with my pannels and hope he dont sit down ahahha, and wall paper the walls with backing paper, n paint the roof white, freaking out man! landlord owns and energy company so will be a full jobby

Or instead of his room what about this
wicked have black floor protecting sheets of plastic can be used n any construction if ya know em it’s 2 ply like thin conservatory Roof shit , roofers use it and anyone protecting shit they come a fiver each for 2400x1200 search wickes plastic protective sheet don’t wanna link it
and cover all the kingspan will smooth it off tape it up he ain’t gona go prodding around pulling it down ,
then the loca construction yard abandoned their site fence bin took lol I could get 200mm rockwool and lay it allover the floor , pretty much what he will wana do anyway
so when he pushes hatch off he will be faced with thick rockwool as they do and torch up to see a black abyss everywhere els exept for my cardboard boxes full of “Xmas decor and clothes”

that’s an option or make it me lads room but the mrs says he would ask why we didn’t have permission to do a room conversion …

can ya get spray on cobwebs lol

No bad tip at all it’s routine every house here had them as new roofs and windows done allover the place and new housing estates they all need ecp ratings done ,
he knows nothing at all like the kingspan looks good there is over a grand of insulation glued up ripping it out will one be a bIg ass bin to fill and two make more mess than ever atm it looks like a normal loft job but the problem is it’s not meant to do thats why I said to sheet it
up there he is looking to see if the floor is covered in rockwool if not they will pay for it every house had dudes filling their loft past 4weeks I’m last on the list

Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

I've been growing in the same place for 14 years, had multiple inspections, appraisals, etc. Being the property owner gives me a high degree of scheduling flexibility for such things, but when I needed the AC replaced I didn't really have any option on how to keep the plants or ventilation in place, 105°F in the house made odor mitigation pointless, so everything had to go and immediately.

Ultimately I've completely demolished my grow around 5 times. Sometimes it's just been take down the lights and not have any plants. Other times it's been completely restore the area to 'normal' conditions.

The downtime sucks, if you run perpetual like I do, you end up losing more than just one harvest. On the upside, it gives you an opportunity to correct any problems you've discovered in your grow. Each time I've had to rebuild, I've adjusted the design to compensate for things that came up over the previous grows. The truth is, if I'm getting the yield I expect for my space the small irritants aren't worth demoing the entire grow to correct. So it's usually an opportunity to fix things that have been bugging me for multiple years but can't be fixed without reconstruction.

When I first built my grow there was no legality in my area at all, now we're kind of like you, I've got a medical card and can legally have up to 6oz, but home-grow is still a no-no. Gotta love forced consumerism. So I established the policy that I have to be able to rid the house of EVERYTHING in 2 hours or less. So far I've held to that, I can get my space down to where there's nothing but a hole in the ceiling where I vent. It isn't going to be 'resale' condition after demo, but it'll be the at the first step towards getting it back to that level. From there I can claim something lame at that point like heat ventilation for a failed crypto mining project or something like that.

Since you're smashed between a hammer and an anvil, I"d probably just demo the whole system, make notes of any changes you want to make when you rebuild and stash your lights, fans, and nutes with a friend for a few days.

Every time I've had to demo my grow I've been a little more than grumpy about it, on the other hand every time I've done it I've improved lighting, ventilation, space management, or some other aspect of the system I felt was deficient.

So there is at least a silver lining.
