Any American voter possessing even a shred of sanity/objectivity should have a gamut of ISSUES,I honestly can't listen to the CKsucker run his mouth w/his fantasy land spin and his tired ass buzz words for 3 fkn seconds. His legacy for me is that I will never see a disturbingly large % of my fellow Americans in the same light again.How this clown is perceived by his supporters vs. the mountains of factual evidence in plain view to what he actually is,is jolting,the definition of insanity,a adolescent con I'd have thought Americans could easily decipher,yet here we are rewinding to press play AGAIN.

Maybe Trump can bankrupt the RNC as well as his companies. Not happy he does not have to pay them but any buck going to his lawyers is less mony to spend on the race.
RNC resolution to ban paying Trump’s legal bills is ‘dead’
The Republican National Committee (RNC) failed to earn enough support from states to bring a resolution to ban paying former President Trump’s legal bills to a vote.
Henry Barbour, who serves as Mississippi’s national committeeman, confirmed to several news outlets that the resolutions he drafted that would have prohibited the committee from covering the former president’s growing legal bills is dead.
The RNC is meeting Friday in Houston to elect a new chair after former Chair Ronna McDaniel announced she would resign on March 8.
Barbour confirmed to Politico that the resolution is “dead” and won’t be voted on during Friday’s meeting because he only received co-sponsors from eight out of 10 required states to bring the resolution to a vote.
Trump has already endorsed his preferred replacement for McDaniel’s former seat, RNC general counsel Michael Whatley. He also endorsed his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, to serve as the next co-chair.
Lara Trump previously said she would spend “every single penny” of RNC funds to reelect her father-in-law to the White House.
Republican critics say the move is Trump’s attempt to streamline the RNC with his campaign, prompting the major question of whether the party will pay his legal bills. Trump currently faces 91 felony charges across four separate investigations, and he was recently ordered to pay more than $355 million in a civil fraud case in New York.
Trump’s campaign advisers have said he won’t ask the RNC for help with his legal bills, but according to federal election filings posted in January, the former president’s fundraising committees spent nearly $30 million on legal fees in the second half of 2023. The Hill has reached out to the RNC for further comment.

It's interesting that this discussion has revolved around perception and what is perceived to be real "personal reality". Not on facts, events, what Trump has done or what he's said. We can expand the discussion to more than just Trump but the upcoming election will be the choice of Biden or Trump and this thread is about Trump's indictments, so my reply is about Trump.
It's not very important if he has a large ego or says things that upset people. What is important is what he did during his first term, what he did at the end of his first term to overturn the election and what he says he will do if he wins office again.
Trump made a long list of promises in his run for office in 2016. Build the wall and force Mexico to pay for it. Bring manufacturing jobs back to the US. Reduce the national debt. Repeal Obamacare and replace it with something better. Cut taxes. But most importantly, he promised to be a great president. Except for the cutting taxes for the wealthy bit, none of these promises were met. Regarding being a great president, I defer to Bob Woodward regarding that:
According to Woodward and from his conversations with Trump, Trump failed as a leader for this country when we needed him the most.
These are facts. Not perceived reality. The above are the facts. If you judge him unemotionally, how else can he be judged other than as a failed president for what he did and did not do between 2016-2020?
Moving on to the end of his presidency, he's currently under indictment for attempting to overthrow the election. Plenty of evidence has been shown to the public that indicated he conspired with others to attempt to do just that.

Under the law, Trump is considered innocent until proven guilty. I don't know about you, but delaying the trial until after the election seems to be the tactic of a guilty person. So, ok, my perceived reality might differ with yours on this. Maybe you think he's being smart. But I assert that an innocent person would be eager to prove their innocence and not delay, delay, delay in the hope of winning the election so that he can shut down the prosecutors. Whic Trump is clearly doing. Also, the stolen documents case is pretty much cut and dry. Sorry but he broke the law there. A judge who favors him is delaying that trial. Is this even disputable?
Moving on to what he's promised. Retribution. Removing employees of the government and replacing them with "loyal people". He's promised concentration camps. He called for the murder of officials who stood in his way when he tried to overthrow the election.
So, I'm not talking about perceived reality. Nor am I making the kind of emotional appeal that Trump makes at every rally. I'm just stating the facts. These are anchored in "real reality". So, fine. Maybe you are making your decision based upon a different set of facts. I don't know what they are and I'd like to hear them. But the facts that I listed, I would hope, would be strikes against voting for Trump in the fall.

Monday’s Extreme Court ruling is gonna be a big part of his legacy, perhaps eclipsing his gutting of “inconvenient” Federal agencies like EPA, IRS, DOJ, CDC, USPS and on and on.
It’s not yet the Ides of March, but Monday was a day of many daggers in the back of the insurrection clause. Textualists, my maiden aunt Fanny!

Besides being friends with Donnie, Vince is doing this because he’s under federal investigation for sex trafficking, and this is his way of buying a future pardon.

you know despite the SCOTUS ruling on the 14th amendment, it does leave a door open for Jack Smith if he wanted too.....Jack can charge him with Insurrection as a federal crime, there is a federal law on the books for that or maybe he already has, and just hasn't put the hammer down.....guess we'll find out

Good for the State of NY and for E. Jean Carrol, who will receive redress for the harm that Trump has done to them.
More fines and damages will be assessed in upcoming trials. Maybe Linda should look into selling more stocks and setting up a legal trust fund for her newly adopted 78 year old trust fund baby. If it's a pardon they are seeking for Vince, they should be looking to Biden for that because former presidents can't issue them.
